NaNoRenO - week 4 - I'm done!
Well, I'm done with the gamejam version of Let's Go Home.
This was more of a harrowing experience than I expected, though I will say that's a bit of dramatic word.
Pet, which took me about 3 weeks to make, was less than 10k words. In its current state, LGH is almost 20k words, plus it was just an intense amount more of work.
I learned so much, and I'll reflect on that in another blog. This is just to say I did it!
(One last thing I want to point out for myself for when I look back on this later: I know this isn't quite how I expected the game to be at this point. I had to cut the endings fully and one character that I was almost done with. I know the music isn't complete. The transitions aren't exactly how I wanted them to be. BUT I did it. Unlike every time I tried to do NaNoWriMo, I actually followed through and worked on this project almost every day in March, even though this month was incredibly busy also.)
I will work on a more final version of LGH over the next month, but I suspect I'll be done before the end of April.
